Anybody should know that these are the GOONIES. Ah yes, the movie that made us all want to grab a shovel and dig up our parents' back yard in hopes of finding a happy, boobie trap-filled adventure, complete with pirate skeletons and treasure.
Most of us didn't find any of that, which proved to be quite traumatic. Some even decided to write poems about it, and they are what you call "Emo" nowadays. The rest of us are still waiting by the beach for One-Eyed Willie's pirate ship to pick us up. I know I am.
I started on this pic like a year or two ago, and I'm just now finishing it in time for Anime Weekend Atlanta 2005. Wow... that's pathetic.
I guess I am happy with how it turned out. I could do a much better representation now... but I have no time with all these commissions.

Mucho thanks to the actors, Richard Donnar, Spielburgh, and all the other people out there who made this movie happen.
I just found out yesterday that the 20th anniversary of the film was being celebrated in Astoria... the DAY AFTER MY BIRTHDAY (June 2nd). I would have LOVED to go to that.... Aw well...
Oh yeah, and thank you Cindy Lauper for the song, even if the video was kinda cheesy.
The Goonies....oh god that is a blast from the past

OhMyGOSH!!!!! GOONIES!!!! A movie before my time, but one of my favorites always. I loved seeing them on Family Guy, too. If I had been born like 20 years ago, I'd totally have the hots for Corey Feldman. Mouth = Sex Appeal.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
In this article you will find many thumbnails of the sun in different forms, all photography featured here by the club feature-me. Please show your support for these artists and their work and the article so that more people can see their work.

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares?... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes.
