I would like to start off this journal with a few notes of appreciation, seeing as how I don't often have anything nice to say about people/things. I think that, as an artist, I should try to support the art I enjoy, whether it be visual or musical. Maybe in some crazy way, karma will reward me for it in the end-- who knows.

KILL HANNAH -- These guys are pretty awesome. They have an album out called "Until There's Nothing Left of Us" which contains the following songs:

Well, I have been trying to do a lot of things. Been trying to maintain my life up here in the Buffalo, NY area, as well as finish all the projects I have taken upon myself.

A few of these projects are rather large. Sadly, I can't really talk about them, because I... guess I've been told... not to.

BUT WHATEVER!! I guess you people will find out what they are in due time.


MEANWHILE, I'll be posting a few images from a few other failed projects, so you can gaze in awe at their failureness. Isn't that GREAT!?!?

RECENTLY WATCHED MOVIES

Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix -- Needs more anger and fat. Harry was supposed to be really angry, but he wasn't. Fat characters were thin. The giant was supposed to be gross looking, and not like the Mad Magazine guy.

Stardust --- This movie surprised me! I thought it would suck, but it was funny and fun. If you liked "Princess Bride" then you should love this movie. It's not THE best, but it really... isn't TRYING to be. They pretty much set out to tell a fun fantasy story and they DID it. Good job!

Hot Rod --- Pretty dumb movie, but funny in its own way. Watch it for the ending.

Balls of Fury --- Christopher Walken as an Asian underground ping-pong crime lord. Stupid, I know, but I enjoyed it.

Sweeney Todd --- A nice musical. BLOODY as hell. The neck slashings were almost too gruesome, but hey, it pretty much did what it set out to do. Plus it was nice to see a dark musical.

Aliens vs. Predator 2 --- Pretty darn good. MUCH better than the first. Just ask yourself, "What would happen if Aliens and Predators landed in some small town in the middle of nowhere?" and the answer is THAT movie.

Golden Compass --- BORING. Very boring. The plot was all over the place, and I found myself not caring for any of the characters at all. Apparently they screwed up the story and didn't follow the book, but the author won't say anything because he wants the rest of the movies to come out. Good job, retard! If you see a problem, FIX IT!! Don't stand by and let it go to shit just because you want to be like JK Rowling and have all your books to film. DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE IT IS SOOOOOO LAAAAAAAME!!!

Went to A-Cen. the con itself kinda sucked. For it's 10th year anniversary, they really screwed things up. Registration was a joke, the video schedule was pretty bad, and the lines for the events were just ridicullous.

Regardless of these things, however, the people I met there were super-awesome!


was a crazy bastard. He was cool enough to buy me a Mario Kart toy, which I ram into things with wild fervor. He is also a Jason, which makes him horribly dangerous, much like who is also a Jason, only much more terrifying. Together they are unstopable.

was very much like her character... pretty shy, and also really cool. It was because of her we got to cut in line at registration, and actually got to enjoy the first day of the con. She also drew a cute pic of MSH and Kami in our book.

and were indeed just as cool as I expected them to be. Watch out for those two! Their levels of greatness might destroy you, even if you look at it for a couple seconds! is a funny mofo, especially when chasing after causing halarity of many kinds. was, as always, fun to talk to/annoy/texttoalhellandback/hang with.

was there as well. She's cool too, even though I sorta kinda just met her. She doodled in 's book, and it was rocktastic. She also brought her mom along... whom I cursed at over the phone, not knowing it was her frikkin' MOM. LOL.. yeah I'm an idiot...

Then there's who managed to snag the ILLEGAL MEGATRON TOY!! That damn thing was HUGE and would be considered lifelike... if it weren't of an abnormally HUGE size. As usual, and tag-teamed us with their crazy dry-humor goodness that I very much miss from the old days in Pittsburgh.

was in artist alley. Holy crap she drew this KICK ASS picture of Kami and Trent! We didn't even know she had it ready for us. Thank you so much!!

Also got to meet and make an ass out of myself in front of him. The crazy bastard drew a SWEET picture of the character and I made up, LORD HELLBANGER!! It looked GREAT, and I can't wait until I actually get off my ass and... well... Enter Void...!

Bought a comic from and I love it! Was actually cool to see good shit come out of TokyoPop.

Also had a cool talk with whom apparently knew from looooong ago in some old anime club! Wanted to get a badge from the guy, but he was always too full once we got to him.


Like I said, the convention needed work, but man it rocked seeing everyone.

In the end, I got con krud... so I'm all sniffly and stuffy and miserable. Fuck, it was worth it. I'd do it again and be patient zero for the con if I had the chance. Man I MISS EVERONE NOW!!!!
